New Laptop, free anti-spyware program?

The post says it all. I did a search, but couldn't come up with much. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Microsoft has a pretty good one even though its still in beta.

Just google Microsoft spyware.

Another one is Ad-Aware from Lavasoft (http://www.lavasoft.com)

avg antivirus software is good and free. Thats what i use

I'm very happy with Ad-aware, its free, seems to really keep things clean and it's free with constant def. updates.

Spybot is pretty neat and free as well

Everyone will knock it...because knocking MS is cool...but I use their beta product.
