View Full Version : When should KK fold to a suspected AA

Been on a bad losing streak recently, and heavy loses are on hands just like this. Should have folded?

Buy-in is $25, Hero has about $35, villian starts with $38, Villian had KK twice in the last 10 hands.

Reraise pf. I think that at least makes you aware if he comes over the top....

there hasn't been enough aggression on your end that you would be able to narrow his hand range enough so that you know you were beat. the minraise on the turn is bad. if you're gonna take that line, just stick it all in.

Where's the reraise preflop option?

This is not a bad beat post.

Oh, and BTW, re-raise pre-flop.

Ok, reraising preflop is a fine idea. But this guy is a strong player, and would reraise me back (especially considering his hand)

Assume either 1) He raises my reraise. 2) Calls the reraise and bets max on the flop. What should I do in scenario (1) v. (2)

Most importantly, can a KK v AA reraise war be prevented?

Usually if you're 5 bet you know you're toast.... but by then the money is already in /images/graemlins/smile.gif

5-bet? Do you mean if he reraises 5 times? Cause in PL, it would be 4 tops with max reraises.

if he 3 bets it pre-flop u atleast have some info to make a decision where to go from there. if he smooth call the re-raise play some poker. personally i dont mind getting all or my chips in with KK vs AA for $25. the reason i say this is not that $25 is nothing it is because at this level u will see some wild hands play this way.

ps: why dont u run search on this exact hand and find that it has been run through like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000 times.

What were you thinking? Party clearly flipped on his luckbox switch. Fold preflop.
