haha this precise situation came up last night in a $25+2 @ the final table. I raised small amount got one caller. I pushed the flop w/ a J94 from UTG. He insta-called show me AJo.

out 9th place like that.

S&G looks good though.

MTT that is a very risky play.

I am just trying to improve my game and not make moronic moves. Would pushing this flop be totally moronic?

I'm folding lots of smaller pocket pairs 77 down, but I do want to try & flop a set or over pair.

If you want to go all-in check the flop and push to his bet if that's your line (I don't like it).
Your stack-size relative to the blinds & the pot make this a diffcult hand to navigate. Mucking here PF wouldn't have been terrible to the raise either & would receive my likely vote barring any reads. You've still got tons of chips and risking them here is not a good idea.
