i was in deadwood this weekend and played 2/4 for a few hours both friday and saturday night. this was my first time playing live in a casino, so i thought i would post a couple of hands. meh, they may not be that interesting, so if they aren't sorry.

hand 1

reads: my table is playing like a .10/.20 game online. very very loose and passive. its a juicy game. villain is one of the only semi-decent players at the table. this doesn't mean he is good, but he's not nearly as loose as the rest of the table. i have seen him raise some marginal hands preflop, so this raising range is pretty large here. MP is very loose passive.

i have A /images/graemlins/heart.gif 3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif in the BB. 4 players limp to villain in CO. he raises. folded to me, i call as do limpers. 6 of us to the flop for 12.5 SB

flop: K /images/graemlins/spade.gif 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
checked to villain who bets, getting 13:1 and not in great danger of being c/r'ed by the passive players behind me, i call. MP calls, rest fold.

turn: A /images/graemlins/club.gif
I bet, MP Calls, villain calls

river: K /images/graemlins/spade.gif
i check my counterfitted two-pair, MP Checks, villain bets, i don't think my hand is good but make the crying call.

should i c/r the turn? i was worried about it being checked through if villain had a hand like QQ-77, a king, J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, etc. FWIW, i think he could play all these hands the way he did pf and on the flop. maybe a c/r is good but like i said i was worried he wouldn't bet.
what should i be doing on the river? any other comments appreciated.

hand 2: this is the next night and we're playing 6 handed. i think this is very standard, but it was the only hand from saturday night that i remember all the details of. needless to say saturday was pretty uneventful. new guy (NG) just sat down and based on the questions he's asking i think this is the first time he's played hold em. seriously.
villain is also relatively new to the table, and i don't have a good read on him, but he seems pretty loose and slightly passive.

NG and then villain limp to me in BB, SB completes and I raise with A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif . All 3 call and 4 to the flop for 8 SB

flop A /images/graemlins/spade.gif K /images/graemlins/spade.gif 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB checks, I bet, NG calls, villain raises, sb folds, I 3-bet, NG folds, villain thinks and calls.

the turn bricks, i bet he calls.

river A /images/graemlins/club.gif i bet, he raises, i call.

comments appreciated on all streets for both hands
