I can't figure out how to do the exact math but here is an example.
Ok, Which is more profitable?
5$ buy in with 10 people. top 3 paying out....1-25$ 2-15$ 3-10$.
or
5$ buy in 5 Player short handed SnG. Top 2 payed out. 1-15$ 2-10$.
At first i thought full tabled sit and gos are more profitable. My Return on them is about 54% at the 5$ and 10$ level.
I started playing shorthanded just for fun the other day and make the money like 80-90% of the time (unless some stupid thing happens like im a 4-1 fav and some guy hits his 5 outter to win /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Now that i look at the math I think that shorthanded is more $$$$$. I only have to beat 3 ppl to double my money, 4 to triple it. where as full table i have to beat 7 ppl just to double my money, 8 to triple it and 9 to make 5x my money. The math votes for shorthanded correct???
U often make less in shorthanded but u make money alot more often correct?
Can someone help me with the math?
