Looks to me like your set is good. I make a 3/4 - pot sized bet here for value.

What hands do you think would call that bet?

With no read on villain, I figure some sort of two pair or TP with a weak kicker makes sense?

Ok, I did bet the river and you should go look up the meaning of "bad beat" in a poker dictionary.

the answer to your OP is very clear. would you have posted this hand if you had won?

Yes: I don't think it's that clear. Do you see why?

I think you would have a difficult decision if you were check raised on the river. But I don't think that betting the river is an unclear decision. Are all of your opponents this weak tight?

If I'm check-raised, the decision is very easy.

About the question if I should VB or not, I definately think I am ahead alot of the time here. I just don't see many hands I beat the will call a river bet.

dude i dont know what the argument is about here. there is a decision to make at the river. i think i vb like 4-6 and obvioulsy fold to a raise. there are enough 2nd best hand IMO to pay you off like AK/2pr/bottom set. if u had a read this is a bit easier to assign villain a range, as for default i think i make a small VB.
