I'm still awake, but no where near any tables. So I guess that doesn't help at all, huh?

Awake, and not playing poker? You'd better be getting laid or something, as that's the only acceptable excuse..

Anyone interested in having a contest as to who can make the best player reads (not hand reads) over the next 50 hands or so?

If you want to move, sounds good. I think we need to turn one of these rockfest into some LAGgro action.

Unfortunately I'm not getting any here. The only excuse I have is that I can't get through the firewall on my network to the tables. I'll be home in a month and then I'll be able to join you guys. Though that'll be a bit late for this game.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UTG+2 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UTG+2 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>.

Is this a horrible turn bet against a fishy (LAP) opponent?

AFAIK, I'm only getting rid of hands like AQ, which aren't really that big of a deal here.

CO is a known tag, but has been playing about 1/6 of his hands in the first orbit here, and didn't post until the table started to fill up.

The guys to his left are (obviously) loose.

The guy to my right who limped is an LAP, playing about 40% of hands so far.

Is K3s a good call here. I don't think iso-raising will do anything really in this hand, and I don't really think I can fold it, either, wish relatively weak opposition behind me (they don't appear to be 2+2).

Easy bet. You don't want AJ/AT/KQ/AQ to have the free card to suckout on you. Plus they might even call so it's a win-win for you. And even if you don't get rid of a hand like 88/99, you still have 15 outs to win the pot and you can get to a free showdown.

Yeah, I was thinking about the free showdown when I made the bet...

Makes sense.

Plus the preference of getting them to call the turn rather than bluff the river is there.
