I'm on an open ended straight draw and the nut flush draw. Factoring in my over card, I'm about 60/40 favorite against top pair. I have already doubled up once and can afford to take a hit to my stack if my draws don't come through. I'm either going to pick up the t270 in the pot or get get good action with odds in my favor. Any thoughts on pushing here? I think my draws are at their most valuable point. If I make a smaller value bet and get called, one of 2 things is going to happen. 1) I miss my draw and I'm now a 60/40 dog to top pair, or 2) I hit my draw and scare off any further action.

Meh, the preflop raise is okay, a bit on the aggro side, but not terrible. Go for the check raise on the flop, if it checks through, it doesn't hurt.

I actually don't mind pushing. With this draw, I don't think it's strong enough to want someone to bet the flop, and then feel inclined to call a push since we are going to have less outs than we think when someone bets. I don't see many worst hands betting the flop anyways, and these donks will call call a c/r push with 2nd pair, but might fold to a push. If the hand was pair + flush draw for example, I like the c/r push a lot more.

I pushed, got called by K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
caught my flush on the turn and (for good measure) hit my straight on the river.
