JOPKE hats

What is the story with these things? I saw some of them around during the WSOP. Then tonight some guy in a JOPKE hat took most of my chips during a super-satelite at The Bike tonight and I heard him talking about "2+2".

What is the catalyst/origin of this term? Is it some sort of inside "2+2" acronym?

This guy also happened to be a very good player - from what I could tell.

j/k - it's taken from a phil helmuth chat that paul phillips posted in his blog and it took off from there. i believe it even made an appearance in a bill filmaff video.
