How important is the program Poker Tracker for someone who is taking online poker seriously? I'd like you hear about your experiences with it and how it has changed your game, if at all. Your thoughts are welcome, thanks.

Pokertracker isn't a 'some have it, some don't' program around here.

Everyone has it. There's no questioning its usefulness, its as useful as the party software itself. I think playing online poker require pokertracker.

It's kind of fun to look at your stats (well, except when you're looking at a bunch of red numbers).

So that's my flippant answer. In actuality, PokerTracker is pretty essential for serious online players. I consider it essential, and I'm only a recreational online player. (I have another job, so at the moment, I don't really rely on poker income.)

Basically, if you ever intend to play more than 1000 hands of poker in your entire life, this program is mandatory.
