I hate to repost the topic but I think this is a really nice bet. I've spent a couple hours looking into this bet and Smith looks like a lock. The only thing thats gonna stop him from taking the snap is injury. Am I overlooking something major here?

Last nights preseason game would have given me pause. Smith did nothing and Rattay looked solid. While one game does not a decision make- a second game like that could end up with Rattay having the starting edge.

I always thought Tim rattay was a good QB in college and never got a chance to play with Jeff Garcia starting for the first 3 years of his career and no WR's the following year.
