Sure, you are ahead alot and never that far behind. If he 3bets you with QT, you have 11 outs to a split and 3 to a win.

These were my interpretations of it too, just wanted to make sure.

Villain 3bet, I called. River was a lovely 8 and we split the pot with his QT.
