I have Kristelita 13.5 PTBB/100 for 2,500 hands in my database at the 2000 game.

AliKings is in the red at both the 1000 and 2000 games with over 3,500 games in my database.

yeah, i have alikings/kristelita at -$114/hr, so if he averages 25hrs a wk, then he should be at about -$28,500 for the 10/20 games.

I think it's fair to say Ali/Kristel is a 5(PT)BB/100 player over time given the way he plays. I think he's said he plays as many as 12 tables at once, but we'll say 10 since I'm weak at math. The guy is a machine who probably puts in 6 hours a day. thats 60 hours a day at $200/hr or $12000 a day. If you want to be conservative and lower one of the variables fine, but I don't think there's any way he makes less than 6k/day on average.

*EDIT* Confused /100 with /hr, so cut the above estimates in half given 50 hands per hour as a rough estimate, and you have a range from $3000-$6000/day.

My sarcasm detector is off the chart, but I just edited my above post due to a mistake and it's safe to say he's only making a million per year. And I know what I'm talking about.

Dommer
08-15-2005, 05:00 AM
I don't want to go into specifics but he's a european player playing mostly ladbrokes and william hill and some party poker/ps. He plays 6-8 tables, and his hourly for the year is 475$ an hour. He also dabbles in 20/40 and 25/50 I believe, but 10/20 is the majority.

Neurotoxin
08-15-2005, 05:04 AM
I didn't even understand the equation that led to the cry of "bullshit", 400k is quite doable.

My friends stats are around that at full ring and he does great, so why does that mean they suck? I could see how they suck if you are talking about short handed though. But what you do past the flop is far more important that pre at full ring I believe.

I have NO IDEA what the player in question is making, but 1 million a year isn't hard for a strong 10/20 player.
