this hand has bothered me so much, i need the peanut gallery's whole-hearted opinion:
the table is the following:
max buy in is 100$
3 rocks including myself, 2 fish (in this case both in late pos) and a few unknowns...
basic table betting was 12$ but i was betting large with TT, JJ, AK, KK (25$, 25$, 20$, and 30$ respectively) and was being called by baby aces preflop from the fish.
i'm in the CO preflop with 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
3 limpers to me so i make it 12$ to go and receive 2 callers (unknown to my left (button), fish in mid position).
Stacks at this point are:
Me: ~$480
Unknown: $70
Fish: ~$150
Flop (34$ after rake):
A/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7/images/graemlins/club.gif
fish checks, I check, unknown checks.
Turn (34$):
[A/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7/images/graemlins/club.gif] T/images/graemlins/club.gif
fish bets 10$...
At this point i'm 90% sure he has that ace. i'm only calling for my 8 straight outs. i call, unknown calls.
River (~64$ i forget what the rake is > 50$...):
[A/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7/images/graemlins/club.gif T/images/graemlins/club.gif] J/images/graemlins/club.gif
this is amazing...if i play this right i can get both their stacks:
Fish opens for 25$. i stare at him, and raise it to 60$. Unknown at this point reraises all in to 65$ (5$ more). Fish holds his chips, then chucks them in. I announce a reraise for the rest of my stack. Fish drops his head in sorrow and throws in his cards.
Later i was told that i couldn't have done that because of the reraise all in wasn't double what i originally bet from the unknown, but besides that point:
Fish folded ATo, Unknown turned up...........
