View Full Version : Weak?

I'm not sure what to do in this situation. After the flop with him calling I wasn't sure what to put him on. A flush draw seemed obvious, even a straight draw is possible, or maybe just overcards. Either way when the Ks shows up on the turn I didn't think I should continue. Is that weak play?

Villian was 72.22, 5.66, 42.86...I only have 18 hands of history on him.

I'm not sure I know the "right" way to play this but I do know that maniacs bet scare cards with nothing. I probably raise here given that the pot is large and he may (but not likely at these limits) fold a small /images/graemlins/spade.gif. If we had the 10 /images/graemlins/spade.gif, then I'm raising for value.

I'd play it the same. (edit: i.e. I fold the turn)
you'll have to pay 2 bets to show this down
I think you don't catch a bluff often enough and even if he's bluffhappy the pot isn't big enough to start a fight over...

im laying this down, the odds that villan has a king, or spade are asotrnomical and were way behind both.

Very standard fold there.. no reason to think you are ahead at this point, and you have no redraws.
