I reached 300 BB and I thought I'd take a "safe stab" of $200 into $2/$4. So far it has gone to hell - I've gotten 2x KK, lost both, got one AA, everyone folded. Got AT flopped ace, runner runner straight overran me etc. Anyway this came across, Should I just fold on flop or turn?

I usually fold this when UTG calls two on the flop.

FOlding on the turn is usually best. Especially that turn.

FYI, don't get discouraged, I had a bitch of a time moving up from 1/2 to 2/4, other than 30/60 (which has been temporarily put on hold) it was my toughest.

You should muck that turn. Also, i think taking a 50BB shot is a bad idea. Shorthanded swings are nuts, and its not uncommonon for me to drop that at the beggining of a session.

reads would be beneficial.

Either fold the flop when it is back to you when utg calls 2 or go to showdown.

By leading the flop you are almost commiting yourself to showdown if you call the flop. I like leading the flop. There is a good chance that CO will auto raise and that is almost what your hoping for. When UTG calls 2 what are you putting him on? If you think either has a K then you must fold.
UTG didn't 3bet. Good chance CO was auto raising.

Turn was a great card for you if you called the flop you must call the turn.

River. Another great card. Again if you called the turn you have to call the river because if you put them on a K you don't have odds to call the original flop bet.

Its ugly when that happens. But that is life at 6-max. It is particularly bad when you have just moved up. Good luck.
