Cannot fold overpair

Villain is 74/35/1.61
He'll raise/cap with any 2 preflop, especially in a blind battle.
I wanted to fold to the turn cap, since I don't have odds to draw to a set, but I decided he could do it with with something like 2 pairs (I have more outs) or 1 pair+flush draw. Then of course, on the river, the pot is too big to fold. I'm losing a lot of $ in these situations.
