RUNOFF : Dynasty vs. Commodus

Well, these polls have told me something important. As I suspected, despite the griping and all the threads on moderation, the majority of people coming to this forum really don't give a [censored] about moderation one way or the other. The Dynasty poll has over 1000 views and less than 200 votes. That being the case, here's another poll:
(I know who Commodus is, and he's fine. If he's chosen and is demoted for bad behavior, I promise to out him)

My suggestion to Commodus, should he win - remain anonymous and only post in your role as moderator. IOW, only show yourself to give thumbs down for locked threads, banned users, etc. I don't know if this would work or not but it would ruin the gimmick if you had to explain yourself. Good emporors don't explain, they rule with firm, but fair hands.

The problem with moderators thus far has been a lack of communication regarding why threads or posts were problematic. I can't see how posting a picture, regardless of how clever it is, is going to solve this issue. To be effective, he's going to have to come out from behind the gimmick, and novelty will soon wear off.
