$6 PP SnG...I had just won two pots uncontested by pushing. Both were against a limper. I had A9s and 99 if it matters.
Those "steals" gave me the chip lead (though that now seems pretty irrelevant when the blinds are this high).

Was I too tight with the next two hands? I was shaky on just how good A5 and A6 are 4-handed. And part of me didn't want to get people pissed and call me out of spite here on the bubble.

Both folds are painful, really. Who cares if theyre angry, theyre probably decent players becuase they made it this far(level 8). If they fold here u can do whatever u want, if they call...theyre really idiots or they have a monsters. Anyway ure hand combined with ure stack is some huge jumbo combination that has to be celebrated with a push.

I like a push with both hands here. AX is a pretty solid hand when you are 4 handed. In my experience I've found that players generally tighten up big time near the money in $6 SNG's (which is probably how you got to the 250/500 levels with 4 remaining). The big stacks will generally fold hoping for the small stack to lose so that they will make the money. Even if you are called by something like KQ you are still almost a 60/40 favorite, which makes a push to pick up these big blinds a solid move.
