Hero ???

I don't like the UTG min-raise, even if its only 15 chips. My line here is to re-raise to 4x BB (what I'd originally raise with anyway) to push people behind me out and see where I'm at vs. the min-raiser.

Should I be careful here?

context: I just moved up to the 22s. In an 11 I'd be more aggressive (6 or 7x BB).

At the $22's, I never laydown QQ preflop. I raise to t150 and call a push. UTG minraise could mean a lot of things, I think.

Don't give the 22 opponents that much credit, they'll be doing this with all kinds of crap 22+, a2+ and some braodway cards (not all the opponents but some do). Put in a good raise of about ~125ish maybe a little more and be prepared to put all your chips in the middle if you get pushed over the top.

You should be careful, players at the 22 only min raise UTG with aces /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Seriously, I'm happy when I see action in front of me when I hold a big pair at the 22s. There is no reason to be concerned here. Try to get all your money in the middle, you'll be surpised at the garbage people are willing to risk all their chips with. I'd raise to ~150 and go from there.
