okay, so i am probably moving to California in January. to celebrate i was thinking of buying a new car (i drive a 2000 Camry now, not exactly a pimp machine, but does the job). now when i say thinking, i mean just like daydreaming. however, I'm not sure what to daydream about exactly. so help me conjure up an image!

here is what i would want

sporty
2 door
used (2-3 years old)
pimptastic

2002-2003 5 speed Audi A4 will run ya maybe 17-22k. Maintenance might be a little heavy, but that's the only drawback I see. FWIW, I'm buying this or a new loaded Accord in the next week.

nothing sporty about 160 ft/lbs of torque. RX-8 is not fast.

08-12-2005, 09:51 PM
RX-8 is fast as hell. What are you talking about? It just generates less torque due to the rotary engine

the nissan z and rx8 are cars that look really great in pics. The rx8 especially, is butt ugly once you get to the showroom to see it. I used to be all crazy over the 350z (still am). It's a huge car though. I would go with a 330 or an acura TSX, great performance.

If the M3's around are a little too pricey go for the 330. Of course if you can wait to next fall, you can buy my 5 series.

Unfortunately, yes. It means that everyone will now stop giving you serious car advice and start making fun of you for wanting to get an automatic sports car (as they should).
