PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter (http://www.pokerhand.org)

Button (t3295)
SB (t5600)
Hero (t1950)
UTG (t2655)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
1 fold, Button calls t400, 1 fold, Hero checks.

Flop: (t875) A/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)

HERO??
No real read on button, he seemed like he did not enjoy playing around the bubble, did not raise as much as i would assume he should in his position. the only time he raised was when I was BB.

Thanks everyone for the thoughtful input, as for the results here they are :

I pushed, and villan had AKs.
I truely THINK i made a mistake otherwise i would not be posting this hand.

Here is what I think AFTER the situation. (IM NOT 100% Certain what villan would do on a flop like that)

With my pretty awfeful read here,I am assuming villan would check that flop, and bet the turn. But if he does not have an ace I almost certainly see him betting this at the flop.

Who here can see villan betting any two on the flop?

I think if i run into this situation again, im going to check the flop 100% of the time, if villan checks im check/folding. If villan bets im calling/reraise(push).

Opinions?

My "opinion" is that you need to be pimp slapped in your snotbox.

You've got 5x BB. You need to make a move here. HU, you've got a good hand with second pair with 2 aces over the top.

You can either shove now, or check-all-in. It all depends on how aggressive you think opponent is. Giving away 6 outs to a passive player bites, but it'd be worth it if you could get him to bluff KQ here.
