55 is generally a fold for me from early position. A call here would be fine though because of 2 limpers in front - wouldn't it?

Either call or fold.
Raise would be bad.

I have expressed my tightness before...and this is an easy call for me.

Without frequent raises behind you, I like limping here.

Limping induces limping.

I would have open-limped UTG. limping here is money.

Guaranteed 5-way action with a pocket pair with 5 to act. Does it really get any better than that?

How about at $1-$2 where the players are a little tighter and the pre-flop average might be 33% (give ot take)?

Even then.

i still limp.

asf percentages are basically useless hand to hand.
i occasionally glance at the asf, especially before i have reads, but what i'm really concerned with is "who are they" and "where are they" and "what are they likely to do"? are they passive, are they aggressive, do they call 2 cold...etc.

There have been a few people who are giving a tentative answer to this post. They need to think about this a little more. There is nothing tentative about this. This is an EASY call. [/thread]
