SB seemed to be a semi-loose aggressive and MP2 appeared to be a LAG.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, MP2 calls, SB calls.

These guys seemed loose to me and weren't shy about raising so I figured there was a good chance I had the best hand here, cap.

Flop: (13 SB) 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, SB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 caps</font>, Hero calls.

SB checking is a good sign, naturally I bet. MP2 raising sucks but he could be raising with a draw or pair of jacks based on his prior play so I 3-bet. The cap was bad news, I thought he'd only do that with at least two pair/trips but he is also LAG...

Turn: (10.50 BB) 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, Hero calls.

Checked, with the intention of calling down the rest of the way.

River: (12.50 BB) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.50 BB

What do you think, how would you have played?

FWIW, I play it the same.

if he's a true lag he could be raising a 4flush, 9T, Jx, or worse. I'm leading the turn and calling down after that.

Looks good.

I might be tempted to bet out on the turn or river, and clal down from there. Looks good.

My inner tag says lead the turn go to calldown mode if he raises. But in real game situation I don't think I'd do that. I think you played it fine.

i think with an over pair vs a LAG i'm leading out the turn. The only reasonable thing you're behind is AA, KK, JJ. As a LAG he may hold AJ or be on a flush draw. if reraise on turn i reraise. if called, i lead river, if reraised, c/c.

There isnt a hand I can put him on that "shouldn't" slow down if you lead the turn. Plus, having it checked through would suck.

But in real game situation I don't think I'd do that.

You're not likely to be behind those because the preson raising the flop wasn't the PFR. You should instead be considering 55, 88, J8, J5, and maybe 85 depending how loose.

even better, feel like we're way ahead here, w/ villian holding Jx (x=broadway), keep betting and raising.
