This thread clearly needs

a) a good cup stacking video
b) a good t-shirt folding video

But I'm too lazy to find them.

This is called FOOSBALL. Table Football is when you fold up a piece of paper into a triangle and push it back and forth, flick fieldgoals, etc.

That's damn fine work. Can anyone describe the protocol in competitive cupstacking? What constitutes a "clean stack", or whatever they call it?

Each tetris program has their own little quarks, and the player hasn't done anything that can be considered cheating if the game lets him do it.

Back when emulators started coming out people were interested in beating the games optimally, or as close to optimally as they could using slow motion, save and other emulator tools. The SMB3 video is the most popular on the net, but there's a whole bunch out there. More here (http://bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos/).

Wow, this kid's definitely good, although I'm sure some of the tougher stunts took a few hundred tries at least before they got it right. Still very cool. I especially like his reaction to the accidental rebound stunt, which went something like this: /images/graemlins/crazy.gif... /images/graemlins/confused.gif... /images/graemlins/ooo.gif ... /images/graemlins/grin.gif aaaaaauuuuugh aaaaaauuugh. The slowmotion is priceless.
