Has anyone ever staged an intervention for a friend of theirs? We just had one for a friend of mine. Everything went ok i guess. i was just wondering about other people's experiences if any.

We did one with my wife's brother. It was uglier than heck. He did end up opting for treatment though. Unfortunately it didn't take and he is still a raging alcoholic who can't keep a job and a place to live.

yah my friend has some serious substance addiction. he was really fine with going to detox. his folks have to get state funding to get him to stay a little longer though...
