I'm still not convinced you're serious.

What the [censored] has Budweiser got to do with "pride" or "manhood?"

If you insist on keeping it local, Shiner and Real Ale are both Texas-based breweries that pwn everything out of St. Louis.

And if you really want your beer to be all about your hard-ridin', dust-eatin' cowboy image rather than drink what's tasty for the price, you need to switch to Lone Star anyway.

Black Butte Porter is a Portland micro brew, made by Deschutes Brewery. It's probably my favorite porter, definitely worth trying sometime. Old Chicago often times carry this one, and bigger liquor stores with a decent beer selection also carry it at times.

Tecate

http://www.barflies.net/blog/images/tecate.jpg

Do you see why? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

But really, I typically only drink Baileys these days, but when I drink beer, it must be Tecate and it must be in a can.

Why? Buy a can, a lime and some salt and it will become very clear (then everything will get fuzzy). Once you pop the can, squeeze a lime wedge in there and coat it with salt, the nucular reaction starts and you are basically forced to down the whole thing (or make a mess).

Couple-few, 6....ok, 12...of those and all pain go away
