Perseids Meteor Shower

Any of you astronomy types out there wanna help me out?

I am in California (San Francisco Bay area)... where and when is the best place to watch this shower?

fri. nite from about midnight to morning is the best day. but will have some all week long. originates from perseids in the north east so look in that direction above you across the sky. expect about one a minute if you have a clear view without lights around. i watch every year.
