2/4 6-max NL just sat down so no read (I wish I did at the time)

Hero is MP with (400) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gifQ/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Villain is BB with (250)
Preflop
one limper, hero makes it 16, folded to BB, who calls, limper folds.

Flop (Pot 35)
T/images/graemlins/spade.gif8/images/graemlins/club.gif4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Villain leads for 50, hero thinks and calls

Turn (Pot 135)
2/images/graemlins/heart.gif
Villain leads for 50, hero thinks and sets villain in for 225 or so

Not my standard line here, but I got suspicious.

Like it for this amount against unknown ?

why is pushing standard here? i would think that villain isnt calling a push except maybe with a strong 10, but will bet the river (edit): with hands that would fold to an all-in

hand protection. sometimes you make bets that will fold all worse hands because you think thats what he gots and you WANTS DA POT.
