someone has offered to bankroll me. i dont think he's bankrolled a card player before. and i've never been bankrolled. we haven't worked any details out yet, so before we do, i have a few questions.

(i play NLHE and have been playing for about 2 years. i live off my profits. i want to up my limits, thus the bankrolling)

-what cut of the profits should the bankroller get
-what if i go bust? am i obligated to pay back the bankroll
-and some other question i cant remember right now, ill post it later

hope this is in the right place. try to be nice fellas

those are questions you need to work out with the bankroller.

If you bust is it on him? Is he putting up all the money or is it 50/50, 60/40?

I am not sure what a standard take would be..... I would stick with a flat amount, 20%, 50%, etc.

It really depends on the situation, and what he wants and what you want. Obviously its stupid for him to take all the risk with his money and only get a little back. And on the same note, its stupid for you to give him too much.

Greg Raymer sold shares in himself and those who bought them took the risk. If he won, they won and if he busted so did they.

I'm sure someone will know more about this and be along soon.
