and I wondering if any of you Seattle area guys are up for a low limit horse game. Actually we should probably add some crazy fox in their too. I would like to keep it to the fun limits since I'm sure quite a few people don't play were I normally play and I'd rather not have to go heads up with bobbyi and bernie in a limit hold'em freezout heads up grudge match.

So a couple of questions:

What games would you like to play?

What casino would host us? I'm decently sure we could convince the muck to host us on a slow night, but that would most likely be a Wednesday, and I'm sure many of the micros would much rather have the game.

I'm in. You think we could get a casino to spread it? You ask at the Muck, and let us know.

I'm definitely in. I'd much perfer a weekend to a weekday, but I understand that that may not be workable.

The rotation should definitely include 2-7 triple draw.

Sounds like fun. Some of those games you may have to help the dealers deal them if they're not used to it. Mucks might do it. I've heard some dealers will do private games if anyone has a (decent)table. We'd all have to chip in to pay the dealer(s). I'm not sure how much the muck will want for spreading a pvt game on one of their tables. I think a fun limit would be cool.

Horse would be sweet. I'd play 2-7 3D as well or crazy fox (although i have not yet played this oen). Any weekday or weekend other than wednesday is good for me (i'd show up anyway on wednesday, i just perfer it not be one).

I'd play just to meet some more seattle players.

Definitly low limits... The only game I've played other than holdem since I was 7 was stud.. and that was only because I entered a stud tournament on accident.

(I'll read up ahead of time so that I have a basic idea of strategy though... /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Gettign a table and chip set is not a problem, however we still need a facility if you want to go private. (read: it can't be my house) I've just always found the casinos as convenient, and with alomst every bowling alley now spreading hold'em there has to be a decent place willing to run it.

You could just tell the wife we'll deal her in and giver her odds on her bets...lol j/k /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I hear ya. I'm just thinking of the cost of taking up a table in a room. I'll try and check into it for mucks.

I will be moving to Seattle in January or so, so I hope to meet up with some of you guys and figure out where the best places to play are. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you (or anyone) can provide a reasonable table and extra chairs, it can be my house. The main reason I didn't volunteer my house is that I don't have a decent table or enough chairs. If that part is "not a problem" then I don't mind hosting. In fact, I would rather play in my living room for free than drive all the way to Auburn and back and pay rake.

Downsides: I live in Bothell, so I'm not sure if that is inconvenient or not. It is closer to Seattle than Muck is though. Also, if it is at my house, I would really perfer not to do a weeknight if possible.

Depending on timing and limits, I'm in. More likely to be in if we can play some double flop hold'em and Crazy Fox.

I love this game. Double flop Omaha 8 is even better, but it can make your brain seize up a bit. Much better drunk.

Oh yeah, if I'm in Seattle at the time (likely), I'd love to play. Word of warning, I represent the Ducks so husky fans beware.

The best mucks could do is put a table in back, raked (No JP qualifying) and would be available on the board for others to come in should anyone leave.

I was told it'd be better to just rent a table from somewhere and do it privately. Which sounds better to me.

Maybe get Mr. Curious to deal? I'd help compensate for his time in the box.

Count me in - I'm a recent transplant to the Seattle area and wouldn't mind finding some friendly 2+2ers to play with.

My place is out - it's just an apartment for now and the rabbit would freak. Low limit is best and I don't mind playing any of those other crazy poker games either..

We have an email thread on this now. PM bobbyi with your email address to get on it.

Well, I did so, but have yet to receive any email on it. Has it been quiet lately or have I been "overlooked" ?
