5 players remaining

Hero (1600)
Villian (800)
(don't remember the other four names or totals, but I was in the chip lead)

Blinds at 25/50

Hero dealt KK
Hero raises from first position to 150.
Table folds around to Villian in BB who calls.

Flop: Q Q J (rainbow)

Villian pushes all in quickly after flop.

Calls. Not tricky at all. Does he push with a Q? No.

No, that is what I thought too. So I call it down and he flips up AQ!

Did I over think this one?

This isn't true. Look at stack sizes, the pot is already more than half his stack.

I still call though, I'm just saying its closer than you're suggesting.

He must have been able to see your cards, or something.

Pass, I go broke here every time. It could just as well have been 6 6 J and him have A6. I'm still going broke.

I just cant see why anyone would bet on a rainbow flop, unless he fears AK and it's 4 outs, or a pair and it's two outs, or something. It's a rainbow flop after all. The vast majority of people would check to the pre flop raiser to check-raise all-in, surely?

I agree with you Tigerite I thought for sure he would put up AJ or a smaller PP. And I think most players would never push that quickly with a Q. But it did take me by suprisied still took down 3rd though.
