Should I pull the trigger on this set up now for $690? Or should I wait for a better deal on a better set up? I have 1G of memory to plug into this thing.

I assume that's a laptop ? Looks good for a laptop but bad for a desktop.

It is a laptop. I should probably add that I would use this primarily for poker and internet surfing. No gaming.

Wait for a better deal, this price is just awful.

2 weeks ago I paid $680 (plus $25 s/h and tax) for a Pentium M 1.6 GHz, 512MB, 60GB HD, DVD-RW, 64MB ATI Video (instead of integrated), 90 day warranty. Much better machine and same price as you'd pay now.

That's what I figured. What deal/coupon did you use?
