I think given the number of limpers, with a little more weight because they are a bunch of EP limpers, this is a pretty reasonable play. If there had only been two limpers, say, I'm raising.

That's pretty terrible man. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
Let me ask you this: If you bump it to 60 and get 4 callers are you happy or sad?

Whatever drugs you are on today, bring some to the Labor Day tournament.

PS- This is not a comment on the advice. Of course you raise preflop. If everybody turned their cards face up, what would they all be hoping you do? The first limper's the only one that may have a hand, and he probably doesn't beat yours anyways holla.

that's a good ftop way to think about it.

my default would still be to complete AQ. but i can't really see how that's right and AK should be raised.

what do people do with AQo here? AQs?

I limp with AQ, and push with AK.
Both probably wrong.

My logic with AK is just that I am out of position, and won't fold to a re-raise at this level anyway after making a substantial PF raise (150-200) and committing 25% of my chips (since they usually just have ATo anyway). I'm happy to just push and take the 12% chip increase without a fight. And when I do get called it is by a pretty wide range of hands that I believe I have beat far more often than not. How wrong am I?

As for AQ...well, I'm a pussy.
And I get in more trouble with AQ than anything else.
Always feels like I'm running into AK. Still, AK is not likely in this field (except maybe UTG) so maybe I should push AQ as well.

Anyone feel pushing these 2 hands is absolutely wrong?
