Actually, the more I watch it, the more two questions come up.

1. What is that thing on the curb. Notice he doesn't actually hit the curb.

2. Are we certain this isn't fake? I mean, immediately the kid starts to get up on his knees, and another dude runs up to him. It has a very staged feel to it.

Definitely looks staged. Plus its far more likely that a bunch of kids with a camera would stage a fake than actually do this to someone. Plus who the [censored] would actually volunteer for that?

It looks like they 'stomped' him into a light tube, not the curb. So, probably wasn't even a serious injury here.

I still have no idea why they would do that though.
