some jackass cuts in front of me at the drive thru, what is my move?

So today a friend and I were in the drive thru at Carl's Jr getting lunch. The car in front of me moved up, but I didn't move up right away (by right away I mean it took me maybe 10 seconds more than it should have) and the next thing I know the car that was behind me has driven around me and cut in front of me. The driver was an unattractive overweight early thirties looking Caucasian female (OMG I'M SO RACIST) driving a old Toyota Corolla. What is my move? Results will be posted later.

I would get out of my car and tell that fat sow that because she is a fat sow salivating at the idea of cramming her fat sow face full of gressy fat sow making food does not give her an excuse to be rude and cut in line, however since I am not a fat sow but a rather a normal sized person I am willing to overlook this and she is free to take her fat sow self to the window before me.

Were you next in line for ordering? If so, 10 seconds is a long time (although it doesn't sound like it). I might have gone around you too. If there were other people still waiting to order in front of you, and thus you weren't really holding up the line, I'd say it was marginally unacceptable on her part.

Also, the fact that you say ten seconds probably means that it was more like fifteen or twenty.

Don't do anything. The polite thing for her to do would have been to honk to get your attention so that you could move up. However, given that you were originally at fault by not paying attention to the line, you really have no recourse in this situation.

that is crap. this woman needs to be told what she did was rude. clearly, protocol in this situation dictates SOW must honk or make some other attempt to alert TARD to the fact he has taken too long to progress in the drive- thru. once SOW has made said attempt she is then free to displace TARD in drive thru line. As an aside, i hope this was before the ordering phase. otherwise you may get her enormous order.

Since this is Carl's Jr. I assume you live in Cali, and if that is the case why are you not at In and Out Burger? 10 seconds is a really long time to just sit there at a drive thru and if a large woman drives around you I wouldn't get between her and her food, things would get real ugly.

I have hard time seeing how this can happen. Unless you're leaving a ton of space (which would be annoying in what I assume is a crowded drive through) I don't see how somebody jumps in.

Also, consider that she may have been waiting and taken your non-movement as a sign that she could go.
