I'm getting into staking players for sit n go's and id like to get in touch with players who play the 10 or 20 sit n go's. I'd put up anywhere from 10%-50% of the buyin for a predetermined percentage of the winnings (usually the same as whatever percentage of the entry fee i paid). anyone interested and is a winning player id love to get talking
thanks,
Mario

Just out of curiousity, why would a winning player need to be staked in the 10+1 tourneys? What bankroll do you need for that - 330 maybe? (I don't play SnGs so I don't really know what conventional wisdom is)

You are not even offering to completely stake them, so we are talking about $165 or less, right? Is it really that difficult for people to come up with that kind of cash on their own? How many people who can't somehow come up with that kind of money are really going to be winning players?

You must really have started crushing the 1/2 on Stars. From playing that on a $240 bankroll to staking players. Wow!

Are you doing this because you're a losing player and hope to make money through other winning player's success?

Well jeez, it's been a week already.

Maybe it's easier to find somebody to win for you than actually win yourself!

My first question was actually somewhat serious. Why not answer it?

its pretty obvious
if someone has a serious downswing or bad run of cards but are typically winning players they want some assurance that they wont get broke...so if half their entree fee is paid for and half their winnings are taken they can build bank their bankroll in a more stable manner

Maybe I am underestimating how hard it is for people to come up with the $165 you are offering on their own. Is it fair to say you expect to get a pretty young stable of players?

I would guess most winning players here are already bankrolled for those games (but I could be wrong). Have you thought about trying to recruit kids from your high school to do this? You could teach them how to play and bankroll them.

Disclaimer: I don't actually advocate underage gambling, so I am only suggesting you recruit people who at least 18.

Also, is this strictly limited to SnGs or would you be willing to bankroll people in ring games? The high school plan would work better with ring games. You could create a little bonus whoring army.

sakuraba,
can it you're not funny or helpful

That is a matter of opinion - I am really amusing myself. You have to admit linking to the stars 1/2 bankroll post was pretty funny.

I actually thought the last two posts were somewhat helpful. I think you would have a much better chance of recruiting moderately intelligent people and teaching them the basics than trying to entice winning 2+2ers with the lure of 165 bucks.
