I like it quite a bit. I might fire on the turn, but it's definitely less expected on the river and you milk a few more chips from him this way. Nice hand.

Ok so pretty standard?
He had 5 rag and took it down.

Gump, I don't like bluffing ace high boards out of the blinds because people often assume you would have raised an ace PF.

I have never played a 109 but at the lower levels I wouldn't do this. I expect villain to call with any pair and I expect him to have at least a pair because of his river bet. I don't think he would bet with K or T high. Of course it is possible he is bluffing an even worse hand to steal the pot but sending out a 150 investigation squad to find out is somewhat expensive.

don't like it, given your action and the size of your raise he's probably going to call anything he would have bet with.

Yeah... I'm only taking this pot down against a bluff I think. He's calling with any J, any Q, etc etc, and I don't want to bump the raise amount up because it looks fishier and my success rate has to be higher. Not betting the turn when checked to with my FD is sort of hard to believe too.

I don't like it. He's going to think that you believe him to be bluffing, and call with a queen and most likely a jack.

Fair enough, but look at this board. Paired 5's, which are a realistic threat because you're playing from the blind unraised, a river which leaves three to a broadway and a flush. There are a lot of powerful hands that you could have, and his bet on the river could easily be an attempt to pick up the pot with garbage because there's been no action so far. I think you'll frequently get a fold out of your opponent with this, particularly since river bluff raises aren't that common in SNGs, in my experience.
