A lot of places that sell quality racquets will let you demo them for like $3-5 a day, then discount the price paid for demos if you buy one of the racquets.

Don't spend more than 90 on a racquet until you are really really good...as in you are traveling to tournaments.

I play daily and I got mine for 80 bucks and it's just fine. My only suggestion would be to make sure it's light. Most of it's just personal style, really.

Anyone looking to spend 100-200 on a racquet should already know what they want... so dont spend this much. You can pick up a good one for around $60.

I am lucky enough to have a buddy who lives in an apartment complex with 2 courts... and we actually played last night. Best anger outlet ever invented....

In fact, i do know what i want...was just interested in what those around here have or play with.

Not a beginner, my competition level demands power from the backcourt and a 1000power wont cut it.

anyone play with the liquidmetal from head?

I have an old Head Big Bang that you could have for the price of shipping if that helps any. It'll need to be restrung, but is otherwise in okay condition.
