Warning: Long post. Summaries of 21 consecutive hands follow.

Yesterday I ran into a mega maniac with a luck box. I really need help in how to deal
with such an opponent.

Is he just betting randomly, or is there some method to his madness? How should I play against this? I’m going to blind out eventually if I do nothing. There are two other players at the table doing nothing. Should I just keep folding and hope one of the other rocks tries to make a move? Should I just play my normal game?

So don't do anything. Play back at him. Raise and reraise. Call down with just second pair. Bet out with As on all spade flop. And make that easy TT call.

I have to admit, I was threatened by his luck.

So, you say I should be pushing it back in his face, huh?

Without preflop stacks etc. there is no way oto comment on any of these hands.

In generaal, you loosen raising standards when you have position and isolate.

Luck always runs the same. There's no way to become luckier, otherwise we'd all know it by now.

If you've probably got the best hand, don't fold. If you let maniac boss you around, you're playing right into his hand.

I left out the stacks to shorten the post a bit.

This is the first 20+ hands of the tourney. By the end Villain is over 2k and nobody else has much of anything.
