View Full Version : A couple 2/5 Seneca Niagara hands....

Hey guys. Recently moved up from 1/2 to 2/5, and im still feeling out the game a little. Sometimes it's really fast and loose, other times it's fairly tight with a couple looser players. It's a $200 max buy-in, and the tone of the game is definitley dependent on average stack size. <300 = tight. I sit down with $200 and average stack is on the tight side. Anyway, these hands were a little unusual I thought so i'd like some input to help me on my way up. Thanks a lot.

Hand 1, my stack $200
I'm dealt AdKh in BB
5 limpers, I make it $30, all fold, button with around $250 or so calls.
Flop TTT. My action?

Hand 2, my stack is $268
I'm dealt 7d8d in SB
Two limpers, I complete, BB goes to $25. One call, I call.
Flop Th 6h 9c
I'm thinking about whether to bet or not when the big blind quickly checks out of turn and the other player in the hand quickly checks behind. I have BB covered, other player has me covered, both are weak tight and i don't think they have anything. BB has been raising more hands recently and check folding a lot. Should I bet?

Hand 1: make your standard continuation bet
Hand 2: They just did you a huge favor. Bet and hope they think they influenced you to do so.
