Isnīt this one of those where you are better off just calling the flop bet, intending to do a better job at protecting your hand on the turn ?

I see... a runner runner flush for someone. Funny though 5 people seeing flop when betting was capped - always a delight.

No one has a flush here looks like, I play it about the same though. Nasty flop for QQ~

SB had the AA, so I lost. Just wanted to make sure the play looked about right...

On the turn, I've decided SB has AA-99. Therefore, I raise the turn and fold to a three bet which would mean he has AA.

Well popping the turn and folding to a three bet would have saved you 1 BB the way this hand turned out. The Q coming on the river was the worst card you could get, because you didn't know which pocket pair SB had and you took your shot in the dark.

No - because the only straight chances I think SB has is a gutshot with 99 - and thats the least likely hand I think he has. Preflop, I'm more inclined to put him on JJ-AA or AK, with TT being possible and 99 just a maybe.

SB probably isnīt folding either way, but you have a much better chance of getting rid of the others if you get to face them with two cold on the turn as the pot is huge on the flop.

There are four other players who clearly could have any two cards each. I like Trix's plan.

I like Trix's plan of holding fire on the flop in an attempt to protect your hand better on the turn. You also get to save some money because there is no way you're winning when the A hits. You'll end up getting 14-1 or something on the turn, with maybe two outs and maybe none: even if you're not against AA, there could be a club and a spade draw out against you so neither Q will win the pot for you. You can therefore fold the turn without a worry.

If it doesn't come an A on the turn, start raising and see what happens.

As you played it, I really don't think anyone has a flush and I am not going to believe my opponent has AA enough of the time for me not to cap it. Since you're getting calls from the MP player too, I think capping is good on the river.

Nobody respond by asking me what hands "make sense" for the SB, please. Hands don't make sense on Party. And anyway, AKclubs, AQclubs, 77, 66, 55 all make sense.

Guy.

absolutley. an ace, king, 3, 4, 8, 9, or club are all bad cards. your equity does not warrant a flop raise.
