Good Article On Max Schmeling

In the new Sports Illustrated(Redskins on the cover). Good portrait of an ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances; who, like most people would, made both good and bad choices.


One nit: Quit call Schmeling an Aryan! Aryans are specifically blonde/blue; Max is very dark. For example, although both are 'pure' German, Steffi Graf is 'Aryan'. Michael Stich ain't.

darn, im not up on my white supremacy stuff, but since light/blue are recessive traits, two non-aryans could have an aryan baby?

And hardly any of the Aryans on HBO's "Oz" have blone hair. Maybe Schillinger used to be blond, but I doubt it.

hitler had dark hair, but i think he had blue eyes.
