I think it would have been easier if you raised more preflop.

i don't put TelAviv on much of anything, or more importantly anything that would call the all-in bet, but I could be wrong. Maybe he has medium jack, or some kind of draw.

it really seems to me like you shouldn't be fearing the straight, but rather the two pair hands from bigTy. stuff like 98, J9.

however he could easily be playing top pair good kicker or pair + straight draw like this.

you still have something like 700 chips, and this is best case 55% equity to win the hand. i would imagine you think you are a better player than the field here, so there is little need to take such a gamble and call this so early on.

you might be moderately ahead when it comes to chip ev, but the percentage of equity where you lose the hand essentially kills your profit overall. so fold.

I might fold this. Depends on reads too. Dont people do this with flush draws? so I guess I could see him turn over a couple spades. I agree with retro and think you can find a better spot to double and leave yourself with chips to outplay the rest of the table. I would raise more preflop also.

I think you can call pretty easily. expect to see QJ, KJ from bigtymin and a draw from telaviv a good percent of the time. also, you have a lot of outs to counterfeit some sort of two pair (mid 2 or bottom 2 or something)

sorry, I have trouble keeping track of what buy in everyone plays at. What level is this?

This is almost always a fold for me. If somehow you are ahead, its probably not by much.
