I got this thing in the mail that they'll give me $50 free if I signup with their sportsbook. I did it and got the $50, but now it makes me want to ask if anyone knows how legit this place is? I know they have a poker client too thats an intertops skin.

Thanks guys, just want to make sure this isn't some bullshit site

I got the same thing in the mail. They are rated D- by sportsbookreview.com. I would stay away.

I have heard of a lot of people having problems with them. I would definitely stay away.

I haven't met anyone who's tried them that would recommend them. That and Sportsbookreview's rating keeps me away.

Well I got $50 deposited in my account and I figure I'll gamble with it. I mean, it's not like its my money. Just worried now about identity theft/secure info. The rules are I can't cash out until I reach $1000, and I'm down to $37 so far. I'm gonna gamble and hope I hit it, if not it's probably for the best.

Thanks guys

Glad I read this post before setting up my account to take advantage of the free 50 bucks. Doesn't seem worth it at all.

Thanks for the help.

Not to hijack the thread or anything. But how is bodog compared to the straight up sports betting sites?

They have supporters here and their customer service is top notch but what I found last year was that when I compared the lines and prices against the two I normally use(Pinnacle and 5Dimes), I almost always got a better price for the line or a better line for the price at one of the other two. I bought in when the poker room opened intending to primarily clear the bonus betting football but I don't think I made 10 bets there all season and wound up clearing the bonus at poker.

Back to BetonUSA... I remember it taking 7-10 days to finally get a payout through them through all their BS...(i.e. faxed information requests, etc...) Not worth it at all. I believe it was craig r who turned me towards the sportsbooks that you are better off with...check with him...

Bodog is a great book if you like taking dogs in the NFL. But, if you mainly bet favs, I would stay away. Actually, what I meant to say is that if you like to bet favs, bet the hell out of them at Bodog please /images/graemlins/grin.gif .

Oh crap.

I got the same letter, but didn't read it carefully enough. If I had seen the free $50 offer, I would've snatched it up.

They ran this promo last season, too.

Just bet the entire amount on one game. If it wins, parlay onto another game.

Continue this pattern, until you got over $1000, or go broke trying.

If you lose, what have you lost?

i just signed up."please allow 24 hours for your account to be credited.""mimimum cash out $1000.anything over $1500 will be forfeited." "bonus not good for poker."i dont think they are going to lose much on this promo. But im going to try anyways.i started to sign up for the poker room and you have to promise to use only one alias, they say Prima network.
im embarrassed to be on the mailing list.and embarrassed that i signed up.but i will love the 1499.95. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
