Normally play the NL 100 but I decided I wanted to try my hand at being a maniac just to see how it works if you are not being a pure maniac, just trying to look like one.

Starting out by doing the standard stuff...raising a field of limpers to $5 with 6 3 offsuit...showing it when they all fold. That brought up this hand.

How do you like my line.

Showed the bluff on the end...1 or 2 hands later, we play this hand. Given the lines and image i've tried to portray how do you like it?

Hand 1: Turn call is debateble, how was villian playing?
Althou you are most likly ahead.

Hand 2: If villian is capable of folding to you image then I guess its pretty sweat.

Hand 3: Flop lead is good but when the A come you haft to slow down. Check and hope he gets you the odds althou you might already be drawing dead

Villain in hand 1 is a total moron...stats are like 60/2 and he's aggro first flop. I stacked him earlier with top pair when he was short stacked and open pushed a flop, then later he doubled up through me when he open pushed top pair and I called with aces...he caught his kicker to beat me with two pair. I can see him pushing with literally anything on this board...he doesn't need the full house to push here at all.

Hand 2 - this was just to show the setup for hand 3.

Hand 3 - yeah the ace scared, me but I thought it might also scare him since I raised preflop...I really didn't want to slowdown because I thought I was likely still good, and I might have outs if i'm not...of course if he has the ace of diamonds i'm screwed. On the river i'm not folding no matter what he bets so I just put the rest in. I figured that given my table image at this point and i had REALLY been maniacing it up that he would call with a large range of worse hands, including any diamond at all.

Hand 1: I'm assuming you won this pot, since you posted it. But, man, what sort of crap does he have that he makes that turn raise with? I can't imagine you being ahead of any villain who is not in a persistent vegetative state, but God bless you and your read if you took that pot.

Hands 2 and 3: Artistry married to serendipity. Nice bluff on hand 2, and hand three following hard on the heels of hand 2 is proof that the poker gods were smiling on you, and then you played a nice hand to max extract. Good job.

So how did your experiment go? You like playing the tasmanian devil for a while? profitable?

It was actually quite awesome. Up 3 buyins in about 45 minutes. Somewhere in there I got a preflop raise of $7 called by three people with AA. Open pushed the flop and took it down. It was beautiful. They just didn't notice that after I acted crazy I settled down. I might actually dabble in this again tonight I enjoyed it so much. The only catch is that reads are super important so I can really only single table it. Won hand 1...and 3....he called me with a Q 10 offsuit, the 10 was a diamond, so 10 high flush there. I can't believe he called the turn bet with that hand and I really can't believe he called the river, but after the crap i'd been showing down, I guess I can believe it.

I have no problem believing he called you on the river on hand three; no doubt he thought you were bluffing, representing his hand. lol. N1.

I am still amazed that you won hand 1, though; what did he have?
