Can you tell me what preferences I should set for allowing a read of a single post's thread (i.e. all responses) with the fewest mouse clicks?

Many times I wish I could just download everything from a single, large thread and read it offline. Have you considered making this possible? Wouldn't it reduce the total hits against your website?
