CO is 38/6/1.7 over 120 hands. He's a decent postflop player.

BB is a 63/1/.5 over 75 hands. Typical peel the flop fold turn bet player (or raise with monster), but I think he's got a LAG/maniac image of me since I had a mild rush when I first sat down and raised like 5 hands in a row, and the hands that got showndown were marginal stealing hands that caught 3rd pair or something (including some blind steals)

Looks good. I wasn't going to mention it but I really think this is a preflop fold, if you are going to complete save it for when a decent postflop player hasn't limped in.

Are you folding the river?

I'm never limping 47 suited or not in a SH game. Its just garbage cards praying to get extra lucky on the flop.

Are you limping Q6s in that spot? If you're not, you're missing value.

Theres like 3 galaxies difference in limping 47 & q6.

Fold preflop.
Well played though.

I'm getting 5:1 to complete with a passive BB.

I don't regularly complete this since I agree its marginal, but I don't think its that bad.

I'm not sure about the river...check/call or check/fold?

this to me would be a standard fold preflop without atleast 4 players in, IMO. I like the bte on turn even though it paired. Checking river is great, as it might induce a bluff, however that would not be a great thing here because there was no PFR and with the texture of board I would put him on a flush draw and maybe the Ten hit his draw and gave a pair. Do you fold river to a bet or call for, if nothing else, for the knowledge?

You call trying to snap off a busted draw

I like the hand was played out - no point in betting the river... make him bluff that river. If he had a King IMO he would have raised or bet turn / river.

What are you talking about? The blinds are 1/3 and you are getting 7:2 = 3.5:1 which is not close to 5:1. Then there is the rake, I'm not sure at what point Party rakes the 3/6 games but I'm sure it doesn't make the situation any better.

Very easy preflop fold, especially with the 3/6 structure.

I don't think preflop is terrible

I do fold here but I will complete with 2 limpers. And I do think Q5s+ is playable here as someone else was saying.

the rest of the hand is perfect, call his bluff on the river.

I can't see him not raising you on the turn with a King. His play is consistent with a hand like A7, or a flush draw. As wheelz said, check to induce a bluff from a busted draw, and call.

I don't see how people think this pre-flop limp is an ok play, especially with the 3/6 blind structure. When you don't play hands like this, you don't end up in sticky situations.

Yeah, 1/3 blind structure = fold. Mental lapse on my part.
