Update: 800 Sngs in 30 days

This challenge has been going on for 14 days and I am waaay behind. I'm disapointed but no as much as I should be because i am running pretty good. I should be around 400 completed but I am only at 311

300 22's ROI 19.5 % +$1335
5 33's ROI -82 % -$123
6 55's ROI 21.2 % +$70

Things are going good. I am going to move to the 55's within a week as my BR is approaching $2500 and I have 1200 22's done with 11% ROI (first 300 were learning experinces). Wish me luck. I'll post again at the end of the challenge hopefully with over 800 done because I am adding a new monitor to 6 and 8 table.

50 buyins is fine if you can easily replace the money you are playing with.

Congratulations on your stats so far. I will offer you a suggestion, however:

If your ROI is 11% at the $22's over 1200, even if the first 300 were learning, you will not be able to beat the $55's.

If you caught my post "Madness in the Rhythm" a few months back, I mentioned how there were a disproportionate number of pros at the $33's. Well, they've almost all moved up to the $55's and that level is currently the most heavily populated with grinders. I wish you the best of success, but if you make that jump right now you will just be paying rake until you are forced back down.

If you do it anyways, I hope I am wrong.

I have 2000ish $55s logged, starting from about 4 months ago. My first 1000 was around 21% and my current 1000 is hovering between 14-17% and I'm playing better if anything. I'd agree with Irie here, I see ALOT more familiar faces these days.

I was participating in this challenge as well and got to ~300 $22s until I 'quit.'

Basically I decided that even though I'm obviously world HU champion (even though I hadn't played 1 HU match in my life prior to 2 weeks ago), I would 'dabble' in HU on Stars until the STTHUC.

Obviously I will pwn Irieguy in the first round but in order to cruise to the title and take out GigaDonk I figured that pwning the $21 Stars HU matches would be in order. Thus, I have jettisoned this Party 22/33 quest in favor of mainly playing HU matches.

I have been playing PLO, PLO hi/lo instead of covering my hole cards b/c, frankly, it's pretty much the same thing anyway. Can you believe for 2 HU matches I thought I only needed to use 1 of my 4 hole cards with the board? /images/graemlins/mad.gif Seriously, the game is obviously rigged, /images/graemlins/crazy.gif.

Actually, I have been killing the HU matches considering I have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing. All I can say is that IrieDoofus and GigaDonkey need to watch out, b/c The Yugoslavian is coming to BRING THE PAIN!!! (and gouge out your grandmother's eyes, etc, etc)
