No idea where the other part of this bill is. Can I turn it in to the bank and get a full $5?

Well, the girl I got it from used to work in a strip club

... as a waitress /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

She handed me a bunch of cash to buy beer last night and one was the $5 bill, I for some reason didn't give it back to her when I gave her the rest of the cash, and she couldn't find the other half in her purse this morning.

I don't know, that looks like 49.3% to me. I think you are [censored]. Regardless, if you take this to a bank and ask for a new bill, i think they might laugh at you.

Now the question is.. how high of a bill would you sacrifice for a good thread?

If the explanation doesn't get posted soon.. I'm going to assume publicity stunt!

I wouldn't rip up a bill for a thread, that just sounds stupid.

I never understood this. Couldn't I turn 51 bills into 100?

just rip out pieces of a couple $5 bills until you have more than 51% on this one, then you can use it, and the other bills that still have some pieces missing, you can use to.

I once constructed a $20 bill out of thin air using this technique....use a razor blade to make the cuts, and stack the money on top of the other bill when you do it so its lined up right. When I was little I "made" a $20 this way when I got into my moms purse. I got beat, and she wouldnt let me spend it, but whatever... heh
